THE ULTIMATE FUN BOARD

An all new performance updated version of our 6'6” the shortest of the Pick Up Stick series shapes perfectly fills the gap between a short board and a longboard. A speedy squash tail, full nose, smooth rocker, straight rail lines give this board great wave catching ability, easy turning freedom and speed. The addition of chined rails add catch free forgiveness to the ride while simultaneously knifing out the rail to allow precise aggressive performance surfing. The 6 6” with its newly updated 4 plus one fin box set up can best be described as the “the ultimate fun board” perfect for first timer progression, weekend warrior looking to max wave time or ripper looking for a transition period style fun board.

Our crew likes it as a twin or quad.

Surprisingly agile for a 6'6

Bought this board to get back into routine and catch more waves easily because pop up sucked. Surprisingly fast and agile for the dimensions of this board. Really fun to surf. Surfed it as a thruster but would consider surfing it as a quad in faster waves.

A no worry, all in one, fun stick

Ive ordered the board unseen in my local surf shop. (2023 Model) When it arrived i was kind of worried about the chine rails because they're quite significant. The board looks very futuristic almost experimental, some would say toy like. These futuristic shapes are kind of new to me and i just couldn't understand how it would work out. All of those worries were completely blown away at the very first turn. I had the chance to ride it in our Local wave pool. Waves between waist to shoulder height. With a Machado single fin attached to it. It felt fast, loose and just so forgiving that i had an actual houly mouly moment in the water. I was able to feel the thin tail and the rocker which is more significant than other mid-lengths have. You can just slightly lean back and let the board dig and do the work. After the turn you can again just pivot it into the waves face and let it accelerate. Important as well i'm 75Kg and i'm still able to duck dive it. I cant wait to get it into salt water. Its gonna be in my quiver for a loooong time!

Favorite board I have ridden

Living in Costa Rica as a snowboarder, bought this for a beginner board and its so much better than the rental boards. floats great and carves well. im 5'8 165lbs. perfect fit for my size and ability.

Fast, free and fun

The single concave and the chined rails on the 6’6” makes it go fast. I have tried it with L quads and as a RRIPS Twin with a longboard …Lost trailer. I was baffled how both fin setups were fast. I will try it with a 7” single fin with side bites and see how it goes. The LIBTECH construction has me impressed with its durability, pop, and glide. I think for someone wanting to learn surfing, FOC FCS2 quad plus long board center fin boxes are perfect. There’s enough nose rocker that just a slight push on the tail will keep it from pearling.
