ALL MOUNTAIN - DIRECTIONAL

Garantiert kein feiger Fisch!

~Travis Rice

Flex

How easily does this snowboard bend under pressure? A soft flex is great for fun maneuverability while a stiff flex is better for aggressive high speed hill bombing.

Unreal!

Nothing short of amazing! I’m a 54 year old intermediate rider in search of my first pow board and pulled the trigger on the Orca. Came this week and I took it out yesterday in a couple feet of fresh Sierra Pow. Words can’t describe the difference this board made from my beginner twin. I’m not riding park, switch, etc and just wanted a board that kills deep pow. The float is amazing and gave that surf feel I’ve been wanting. I’m 5’9 180 and went with the 153 which was perfect. First time on a volume shifted board and loved it. Can’t wait to get back. If you are in the market for an easy to ride directional pow board, this is it.

Everyone Knows This Board Rips!

Been slashing the pow in Mammoth, June, Snowbird and Solitude on my 153 Orca and loving it! I've tried several other boards and this Orca is the one for me!

Brah this board rips!

I was looking for a board that would make me excited to ride again and I found it in the Orca. Hands down best board I've ever ridden. Plenty of pop, great for bombing groomers, laid out carves on hard pack, and it totally floats in deep Canadian powder. I honestly thought I was over snowboarding but I but I am completely psyching to get up there again. Ridden the board on about 10 sessions so far and it keeps getting better. I am experienced, 185 pounds and I ordered a 161cm

Hole. Lee. SHIT.

Been riding Lib Techs/GNU’s for quite a few years now. I’ve been through over a handful of their decks. Nuzoid, BRD, Skate Banana, Riders Choice, etc. NEVER have I ridden a product of ANY KIND that has surpassed my expectations and changed MY RESPECTIVE PERFORMANCE, like I have on The Orca. I was nothing short of speechless. I thought maybe it was just “that run”, got lucky, and the next run wouldn’t be nearly as epic. Every run was as insane as the next. It’s single handedly, in one afternoon, changed my approach and passion for the sport. I’m 48yr old, been riding for decades, and it’s ignited an enthusiasm I never thought I’d experience again. There’s no fear on this thing. No second guessing. And certainly no questioning MY ability. From the moment I’m locked in, it’s Mach 4 to the bottom, at break neck speed and F1 cornering. Thank you T Rice and thank you Mervin for putting that smile on my face and fire in my belly for runs I thought were well behind me, and nothing more than a distant memory of my former 25yr old self. Godspeed yinz -Shane

Absolute resort killer

Carving is unreal, icy conditions are still fun with the elite edge hold. Wasnt sold on the magne traction creating a noticeable difference after demoing other magne traction boards in past, but having rode other directional sharp sidecut boards without magne, I can say that I could lay total trenches in hardpack on the orca and the magne traction seems to be the cause of this extra sharp edge hold. This thing of course also rips powder, is short enough for moguls and trees, and is surprisingly playful.
