This thing rips! great all mountain board its nice and stiff so you can dig deep in those euro carves with stability and it will slay any side hit in sight! I got limited time on this board but the time I did it was AMAZING. If you love turning and catching some air, this board is screaming your name! everyone needs a board like this in their quiver. BUY IT!
If you're used to riding the Skunk Ape, the 164.5W T Rice is a pretty similar ride, but you also get a sintered base at a lower price point. I'm 6'6'' 230lbs with a size 13 and find that this board manages to hit that sweet spot of floating in powder, while still be nimble enough elsewhere on the mountain and stable on groomers. If Lib made a C3 version of this board, or the skunk ape, in a large size I think that'd be my perfect daily driver.
I got this after owned 2 park boards and felt i need some one to handle speed in steep hills and ice and dosent get the nose stuck in the snow while carving. Just ride it one day and love it. Cant wait for tomorrow
I ride T Rice Pro 164.5 and I would like to say it is the best board I ever had and I rode a lot of boards in my lifetime. When I bought it i thought it is too wide for me. I am 186 cm tall but my foot is US10. It turns out to be very agile board for its width (26.2 W and 310 T/N) and it does feel like smaller board with exception when going fast. Then becomes one stable missile which also grips well on Icy surface. Thank You MERVIN. Respect
First Libtech board ive purchased and i got to say that the first noticeable thing is the grip this board has on icy steeps. Just amazing confidence to bomb down the mountain without the fear of washing out your edge. Speaking of bombs, this thing hauls ass. I have the 157W and have my binding width maxed out and its very stable. (5'10" 185 pounds). It does excellent "euro" carves Riding switch with the Trice Pro is awesome. Its a little hard to butter with because its stiff but i wouldnt say its as stiff as they say on the chart. The board has a nice pop to it. Nothing overpowering. Its a predictable energy release that wont throw you around if you get into moguls etc. I only have 3 days on this board with one day having some powder (7-8") and so far im super happy i got this. Im running stiff K2 boots and Ride capo bindings. great for aggressive riding, jumps, sitde hits, and rails. about to put another 3 days into it this weekend. cant wait!
